KANOWIT, Dec 20 – Ten students and their parents were safely rescued after being stranded this morning when floodwaters cut off access along Jalan Ulu Pedai, Kanowit.

“Safety was our top priority. Despite the challenges, we ensured that everyone was evacuated without incident,” said a spokesperson from BBP Kanowit.
The operation successfully concluded at 11.10 am, with all individuals safely returning home. No injuries were reported.
