KUCHING – Batu Lintang State Assemblyman and human rights activist, Lawyer See Chee How, recently met with four families in Tabuan Heights whose homes were affected by the recent landslide. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of recovery efforts and discussing upcoming plans to restore and protect their properties.
The Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Sarawak has been at the forefront of these efforts, ensuring that the affected areas are rehabilitated promptly. The landslide, which occurred recently in the Tabuan Heights area, caused significant distress to the affected families. However, quick action by local authorities minimized further damage and ensured that no lives were lost.
