KUCHING, 2 March 2025 – The N.11 Batu Lintang Mobile Service team successfully held their first-ever night mobile service yesterday, attracting a large crowd at TJ DELIGHT, Jalan Bayor Bukit. Organised by N.11 Batu Lintang SUPP Chairman Sih Hua Tong and his Dong Ge Team, the event exceeded all expectations.
Overwhelming Response From the Public
The team originally expected a smaller turnout due to the late evening timing, but the response proved otherwise. From 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the service booth was packed with residents seeking assistance and information. According to Sih Hua Tong, the team was so busy handling inquiries that they hardly had time to rest or even drink water.

Despite the rush, the team was thrilled to see such strong community engagement, showing that people are eager for convenient access to government services even after regular office hours.

During the night mobile service, the team provided two important services:
- Kenyalang Gold Card Inquiries: Many senior citizens and their families took the chance to ask about the benefits and how to apply.
- SCHB Service Applications
Community-Centric Initiative
Sih Hua Tong expressed his gratitude to the Dong Ge Team for their hard work and dedication, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. He also thanked all attendees for their support and feedback, which will help the team improve future services.
He highlighted that this night service concept is part of SUPP Batu Lintang’s ongoing efforts to make government services more accessible to the community, especially for those unable to visit during the day due to work or other commitments.
More Services to Come
With the success of this first night mobile service, the team plans to hold more night sessions at different locations around Batu Lintang. The goal is to bring services closer to the people, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their schedule, can access the help they need.
