This year, the Cowboy Carter star is up for 11 awards, including groundbreaking first-time nominations in country music categories. Her nods include:

  • Best Country Solo Performance for “16 CARRIAGES”
  • Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus for “II MOST WANTED”
  • Best Country Song for “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”
  • Best Country Album
  • Best Americana Performance for “YA YA”
  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Post Malone for “LEVII’S JEANS”

A History of Grammy Dominance

Beyoncé previously tied with her husband, JAY-Z, as the most-nominated artist at 88 nominations. She also holds the record for the most Grammy wins, with 32 awards to date.

However, the journey hasn’t been without controversy. Last year, JAY-Z criticized the Recording Academy for repeatedly overlooking Beyoncé in the prestigious Album of the Year category.

At the 2024 Grammy Awards, JAY-Z commented, “She has more Grammys than anyone and never won Album of the Year. Even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work.”

Despite four previous nominations for Album of the Year, Beyoncé has yet to take home the honor, with past losses to Taylor Swift, Beck, Adele, and Harry Styles.

Top Nominees of 2025

Other leading contenders this year include Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone with seven nominations each. Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter follow closely with six, while breakout stars Chappell Roan and Shaboozey also shine with multiple nods.

The 67th Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, 2025.
