KUCHING (Nov 18): A dramatic car fire at Mile 8, Jalan Penrissen in the early hours of the morning has left a vehicle completely destroyed, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 2.25am and promptly dispatched firefighters from the Siburan fire station to tackle the blaze.
Upon their arrival, the team discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames, with the fire having already consumed the car entirely. “The car was 100 per cent destroyed,” a Bomba spokesperson confirmed.
Fortunately, the driver managed to escape unharmed, and no other injuries were reported in the incident. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames, ensuring the situation was brought under control before concluding their operations.
