KUCHING, March 22, 2025 – The CMAA Team made a grand impression at the Hong San Si Temple Deity Birthday Parade, securing the Runner-Up position in the highly competitive Dragon Dance category. The event, organized by the Kuching Hokkien Association, marked the 1,000-year celebration of the Hong San Si Temple and was held at Wayang Street on March 21, 2025, which coincided with the 22nd day of the second lunar month in the Chinese calendar.
A Night of Cultural Brilliance
The parade was a spectacle of traditional Chinese performances, with teams from across the region showcasing their best moves. The CMAA Team displayed exceptional skill, discipline, and teamwork, earning them the silver medal in the Dragon Dance category.
