The fire engulfed the semi-permanent structure, which measured around 30 by 30 square feet. Bomba reported that the blaze had significantly damaged the property by the time firefighters arrived.

“Upon arrival, our team acted swiftly, containing the fire using two water hoses with water sourced from the fire engine and a nearby hydrant,” Bomba said in a statement.

After ensuring the fire was fully extinguished and would not reignite, the operation was declared complete.

No injuries were reported as the house was unoccupied at the time of the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures, even for unoccupied structures, to prevent such events.
