KUCHING, 16 March 2025 – The Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung (JKKK) Kampung Tabuan Jaya successfully held a meeting with Ketua Isi Rumah (KIR) to discuss important village matters and future plans. The meeting gathered residents from 76 houses across Urat Mata, Jalan Kedandi, Tabuan Dusun, and Stutong Avenue.
Key Discussions in the Meeting
The meeting covered several important topics, including a welcoming speech by the Ketua Kampung (KK), the introduction of newly elected JKKK members for the 2025-2026 term, and the presentation of the JKKK financial report. Additionally, discussions focused on planning activities for the year 2025 and addressing government policies as well as general issues affecting the village.
Village Leader Encourages Teamwork
Village leader Tuai Rumah (TR) Diana John expressed her gratitude for the continuous support from the community since she took office in June 2023. She emphasized the importance of teamwork in ensuring the village’s success.

“I cannot lead this village alone. Leadership is about teamwork, and I truly appreciate the support of my committee members and the villagers. Together, we can make Kampung Tabuan Jaya stronger,” she said.
She also encouraged the newly appointed committee members (AJK JKKK) to take their roles seriously and work towards improving the community.
Community Spirit is the Key to Progress
TR Diana reminded residents that everyone has an important role to play in shaping the future of Kampung Tabuan Jaya.
“In a kampung, no one is more important than the other. We are like a human body—every part matters. If we work together, we can achieve great things,” she added.
