Kuching, 21 March 2025 (Friday) – The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sarawak has intensified its enforcement efforts through Ops Director Bill 2/2025, conducted at Batu 15, Jalan Kuching-Serian.
Led by Tuan Nor Azlan bin Ibrahim, Deputy Director of JPJ Sarawak, the operation saw the participation of 35 JPJ officers and personnel, focusing on private and commercial vehicles to ensure compliance with the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333) and the Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act (Act 334).

During the operation, 745 vehicles were inspected, and 87 non-compliance notices were issued for various offenses. Some of the key violations detected include:
✔️ No driving license
✔️ Expired road tax
✔️ No GDL (Goods Driving License)
✔️ Technical faults and illegal vehicle modifications
