Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Dr. Sim Kui Hian, together with MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng and other council members, were present to unveil the revamped statue. The transformation includes not just the vibrant new attire but also a fresh touch-up by renowned artist Gerald Goh, who turned the cat’s eyes a striking shade of blue, adding a modern flair to its classic charm.
