On the evening of 16th February 2025, Miri’s Criminal Investigation Division (BSJ) successfully recovered a stolen motorcycle following the arrest of a local man. The incident took place around 6:00 pm during Op Lejang, with police tracing the stolen motorcycle to a palm plantation in the Ladang Tiga area, Bekenu.

Prior to the discovery, the suspect, a local man, was arrested at a budget hotel in Bintulu. Police had been on the lookout after the motorcycle was reported missing five days earlier. Investigators were led to the palm plantation, where they found the stolen motorcycle hidden near a bush. The quick recovery of the vehicle was a significant breakthrough for the police, who have now launched further investigations into the case.
