KUCHING: Malaysia and the United Kingdom continue to strengthen their diplomatic ties with a courtesy visit from the Speaker of the UK House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, to the Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar. The meeting took place at the Sarawak State Palace on Thursday, further enhancing the long-standing relationship between the two nations.

Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi, accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, warmly welcomed the UK delegation. Among the notable attendees were Sarawak Regional Director from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fenny Nuli, Acting High Commissioner of the British High Commission, David Wallace, and key officials from the UK Speaker’s Office and British High Commission.
