DARO, 22 February 2025 – The Muara Lassa Bridge, Sarawak’s longest bridge across a river, was officially inaugurated this morning by the Sarawak Premier, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Haji Abang Johari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg. The landmark event took place on the bridge itself, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development.

The project, which began with its groundbreaking ceremony in 2019, was successfully completed in January 2025 using state government funds.
