The crash site, located on the Pan Borneo Highway approximately 31 kilometers from Bau town, presented a harrowing scene for first responders and bystanders alike.

Eyewitnesses reported that both the man and boy were inside the vehicle when the accident occurred. Fortunately, they were rescued by quick-thinking individuals who pulled them from the fiery wreckage just in time.
Both victims were promptly transported to Bau Hospital for medical treatment. However, their identities and the severity of their injuries remain undisclosed at the time of writing.
