According to Phang, the initiative was launched to help ease the suffering of flood victims across Kuching, Samarahan, and Serian Divisions. Specifically, for Serian, the club donated 512 units of mattresses and 1,032 units of pillows to families affected by the disaster, especially those registered under the Serian Division Social Welfare Department (JKM).

Caroline Cleophas Joseph expressed her deep appreciation for the contribution, emphasizing that the collective efforts of 15 donors—including individuals, private companies, corporate bodies, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs)—have played a crucial role in assisting flood victims. These contributions include basic necessities and food aid, which were provided both during the disaster and in the recovery phase.

She further highlighted the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives like this, urging more organisations and individuals to participate in such efforts in the future. She noted that continued support from various sectors can help ease the burden on both the government and the affected communities.

Also present at the event was Serian District Officer Inting Nyami, who witnessed the donation and commended the collaborative spirit shown by all involved parties.
