KUCHING – Thirteen talented dancers from Russell, Randell and Cindy Dance Company, led by their dedicated coach Cindy Chung, are ready to showcase their skills at the Bailando Open DanceSport Championship 2025. The prestigious event will take place in Johor Bahru from 4th to 6th April 2025, featuring top competitors from across Malaysia and beyond.

The Sarawakian dancers competing in this championship are Cordelia Wee, Eunice Ling, Erin Ung, Arabelle Leah Pei, Valery Chung, Einsley Ng, Charlotte Hii, Vanie Sii, Isabelle Lam, Anne Chai, Abelinda Sim, Sarah Tham, and Patricia Yap. They will participate in various categories, including Juvenile, Junior, Youth, and Adult Solo Latin, competing for ranking points in the MYDF Ranking and the internationally recognised WDSF Open events.

This competition serves as a platform for these young dancers to gain valuable experience and exposure in the world of DanceSport. Their dedication and hard work in training will be put to the test as they go up against some of the best dancers in the region.

Coach Cindy Chung has expressed her pride in her team’s commitment and determination. “These dancers have put in countless hours of training and preparation. We are confident that they will do their best to represent Sarawak proudly on this national and international stage,” she said.
