Mukah, 21 February 2025 (Friday) – The Sarawak Road Transport Department (JPJ) is taking strict action against road rule violators through a Special Technical Raid Operation in Mukah. Despite his busy schedule, the Director of JPJ Sarawak, YBrs Tuan Norizan bin Jili, personally led the operation alongside Puan Dayang Feridzah binti Awang Kadir, Head of JPJ Mukah Branch.

213 Vehicles Inspected, 23 Issued Non-Compliance Notices
In this operation, a total of 213 vehicles were inspected, and 23 drivers and vehicle owners received non-compliance notices for various offenses. Among the most common violations were:

- Operating a commercial vehicle without a Goods Driving License (GDL)
- Several technical violations related to vehicle safety and compliance
JPJ Continues to Enforce Strict Compliance
The Special Technical Raid Operation aims to monitor, detect, and take firm action against drivers and commercial vehicle owners who fail to comply with road transport regulations. This initiative is carried out under the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333), the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board Act (Act 334), and the Land Public Transport Act 2010 (Act 715).
