After assessing the situation, six individuals were safely relocated to Jalan Bleteh PPS. The victims comprised three adult men, one adult woman, and two teenagers.

Authorities have advised residents in low-lying areas to remain vigilant, as continuous heavy rain poses further risks of flooding. The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department remains on high alert, ready to respond to emergency situations.

The Kapit District Disaster Management Committee is closely monitoring the flood situation and urges the public to follow safety guidelines. Those affected by rising waters are encouraged to seek shelter at designated PPS locations for their safety.

Meanwhile, weather forecasts predict ongoing rain, which may contribute to worsening conditions in flood-prone areas. Residents are urged to stay informed through official channels and prepare emergency supplies in case of further evacuations.
