SUPP Kuching Youth and Community Leaders Distribute 123 Vegetarian Meals in Padungan for 9th Lunar Month Celebration
KUCHING, 3 Oct 2024 – The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Kuching Branch Youth together with Eric Tay Tze Kok, in collaboration with local KMKK (Community Leaders) and JKKK (Village Development and Security Committee) members, successfully distributed 123 packets of vegetarian fried noodles and beehoon to the public this morning. The event took place in Padungan, marking the first day of the 9th lunar month.
The distribution, which was completed in just five minutes, saw enthusiastic participation from the community. Special thanks were extended to Padungan’s OCS (Officer-in-Charge of Station), Tuan Enix Goh, who joined the event and received warm handshakes and support from the locals.
Simultaneously, Kapitan Bong Ngim Sin and his JKKK team carried out a similar initiative at Kai Joo Lane, distributing vegetarian lunches and shirts to the public, further spreading the spirit of care and togetherness.
This community outreach reflects a shared commitment to support and uplift residents during meaningful cultural occasions.
