KUCHING – In a heartwarming effort to give back to the community, the Kuching Vitality Team, also known as Team Dynamic Kuching, organized a meaningful charity event on the first day of the twelfth lunar month. The event took place at South Asia Ong Kee Trading in Padungan, where the team distributed free vegetarian meals to the elderly and vegetarians in the local community.
The success of this event was a testament to the strong support from the community and its leaders. Among the notable attendees were City Councillor Zheng Zhiguo, Kuching City Councilor Liew Leongyee, Councilor Eric Tay Tze Kok, Tony Wee, Calvin Sim TY, Francis Chung, Kui Hua Kueh, Albert Yeo, and Cecilia Chin. These leaders, along with dedicated team members, worked hand-in-hand to ensure the event’s smooth execution.
This initiative was more than just a meal distribution—it was a heartfelt act of kindness designed to inspire compassion and unity. The Kuching Vitality Team aimed to spread warmth and encourage the spirit of helping others.
One of the event’s organizers Kuching city councilor Liew Leongyee shared, “This is our way of giving back to the community. We hope to inspire more people to take part in charity and contribute towards building a caring society.”
