KOTA SAMARAHAN: A road accident involving two vehicles left three people injured in Kampung Pengkalan Kuap, along Jalan Datuk Mohammad Musa, early this morning.
According to a statement from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Center (PGO), the emergency call was received at 3:33 am. A team from the Kota Samarahan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was dispatched immediately and arrived at the scene 16 minutes later after covering a distance of 15 kilometres.
The accident involved a Honda City carrying two passengers and a Perodua Viva with one passenger. When emergency personnel arrived, they found that all victims had already been extricated from the vehicles with the help of bystanders.

Victims Rushed to Hospital
“Two of the injured victims were transported to the hospital using Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) equipment, while the third victim was taken by members of the public to the National Heart Institute (IJN) for further treatment,” JBPM reported.
The operation, which included seven JBPM personnel, was supported by an FRT vehicle and an EMRS unit. It concluded at 4:22 am after ensuring the site was secure and under control.
Police Investigation Underway
The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) also arrived at the scene to assist in managing the situation and initiating an investigation.
“The cause of the accident is still under investigation,” JBPM stated.
Motorists are advised to be extra cautious when traveling at night and during early morning hours to prevent such incidents.
