Sri Aman, Nov 12 – In a close brush with tragedy, three women emerged unscathed from a single-vehicle accident that took place on Jalan Loji Bayai, Sri Aman, around 4 am today.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) reported receiving an emergency call regarding the incident at 4:07 am. Promptly responding, a team from the Sri Aman Fire Station was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance.
Upon arrival, the team, led by operation commander Mohamad Fadhli Buyong, discovered that the vehicle—a Toyota Land Cruiser Ninja King—had been completely engulfed in flames. It is believed that the vehicle overturned after the driver reportedly lost control, causing the intense fire that left the vehicle entirely burned.
“All three female victims involved in the incident were reported safe and unharmed,” confirmed Mohamad Fadhli. Despite the severity of the accident, the women’s escape from injury or harm was nothing short of miraculous.
Eyewitnesses and local residents in Sri Aman expressed relief that the women escaped unscathed from the wreck. The sight of the vehicle fully ablaze left many shocked, yet grateful that lives were not lost in this early morning accident.
Bomba urges drivers to exercise caution, especially during early morning hours when visibility can be reduced. In this instance, quick action by emergency responders and the vehicle’s design likely contributed to the survival of all three passengers.
The incident serves as a timely reminder for the public to drive safely and always remain vigilant on the road. Further investigations may clarify additional details surrounding the circumstances leading up to the accident.
