Purpose of the Visit

This special visit was organised to invite Tun Pehin Sri and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi, to attend the Sungkei Anak Sarawak Ceremony. This meaningful event is planned for 22 March 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The Sungkei Anak Sarawak is an important annual event that gathers the Sarawak diaspora from all over Peninsular Malaysia. Sarawakian students, professionals, and families living in Kuala Lumpur and nearby areas will come together to celebrate and foster unity.

Ruler’s Blessings and Encouragement

During the visit, Tun Pehin Sri expressed his prayers and hopes for the success of the ceremony. He wished that all preparations would go smoothly and that the event would become a strong platform to strengthen friendship and foster family spirit among Sarawakians living away from home.

This visit highlights the Sarawak Foundation’s commitment to strengthen community bonds among Sarawakians and preserve Sarawak’s rich culture and traditions even when they are far from home. – TYT Sarawak
