Firefighters then continued efforts using a 66.6-metre water stream to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. The affected area was a storage room beneath the teachers’ quarters, which contained carpentry and electrical equipment. The damage was estimated at around 10 percent.

By 6.35 PM, the fire was successfully brought under control, followed by a thorough inspection to prevent any potential re-ignition.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities.

This incident highlights the importance of fire safety training and the availability of firefighting equipment in schools, which can make a crucial difference in emergency situations.
