ASAJAYA: Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development and Kota Samarahan Member of Parliament, Datuk Rubiah Wang, had the opportunity to celebrate 243 asnaf in the Asajaya area through the P197 Samarahan Prihatin 2025 Programme. The event took place at Masjid Darul Rahmah, Kampung Tambirat Lot on Friday.
This annual initiative is part of her ongoing efforts to support the less fortunate, particularly ahead of the holy month of Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
A Symbol of Care and Support
Datuk Rubiah emphasised that this programme is more than just providing aid—it is a way to show concern and offer moral support to those in need.

“I hope that with the assistance provided, the asnaf can feel a little relief and celebrate Ramadan and Aidilfitri with full joy,” she said.
As part of the event, the Samarahan Baitulmal Fund contributed pelikat cloth to male asnaf and telekung to female asnaf.
Appreciation to All Involved
Datuk Rubiah took the opportunity to express her appreciation to all parties involved in making the programme a success.
“Without the support and hard work from all parties, this programme would not have been possible to be implemented smoothly and effectively,” she added.
The event saw the involvement of various organisations, including the Asajaya District Office, Kota Samarahan Parliamentary Service Centre, Kampung Tambirat Lot Tribal Chief, and dedicated volunteers.
