Sri Aman, 15 February 2025 (Saturday) – The Sri Aman Road Transport Department (RTD) conducted a joint enforcement operation with the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIMS) last night, targeting road law compliance and immigration violations. The large-scale operation ran from 10 PM to 4 AM, leading to multiple vehicle inspections and detentions.

A total of 339 vehicles of various types were stopped and checked by enforcement officers. The RTD Sri Aman team issued 26 notices for various traffic offenses to drivers and vehicle owners, ensuring stricter compliance with road regulations. Meanwhile, the Immigration Department detained 10 individuals for suspected immigration-related offenses, pending further investigation.

This integrated operation involved 10 officers from RTD Sri Aman and 34 members of JIMS, reflecting a strong collaboration between enforcement agencies. The initiative aims to enhance road safety, increase public awareness, and ensure that all road users adhere to the law.
