In addition, two motorcycles were seized under Section 60 of the Road Transport Act 1987, which allows authorities to confiscate vehicles involved in dangerous activities.
Public Safety Comes First
The operation, which began at 7:00 PM and ended at 11:30 PM, is part of the police’s continuous efforts to keep Mukah’s roads safe. Illegal racing not only endangers the lives of the riders but also poses a serious threat to other road users.
Mukah police urge the public to report any illegal racing activities and remind riders to follow traffic laws to avoid strict legal action.
“We will continue these operations to ensure road safety and take firm action against traffic offenders,” said a representative from Mukah IPD.
