KUCHING – Manjeet Sidhu, a dedicated social activist and community leader in Sarawak, has been re-elected as the president of the Lions Club of Kuching Unity. As the founder and president of PPIS, Manjeet has led various initiatives to support struggling communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she mobilized a team of 46 volunteers to provide daily meals to healthcare workers in Batu Kawa and Tapian Gelenggang, showing her commitment to frontline responders.
Her remarkable dedication to social work was recognized in March 2024 when she received the ‘Anugerah Kasih Wanita Harmoni’ during the International Women’s Day celebration. This prestigious award honored her efforts in community service and empowerment.
