KUCHING, Dec 23 – The Ministry of Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, led by Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah, has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to advancing gender equality and fostering inclusive community wellbeing.
As 2025 approaches, the Dalat assemblywoman shared her aspirations to ensure every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Fatimah highlighted the ministry’s focus on promoting access to quality early childhood education and driving community-based solutions to enhance health, security, and prosperity.
“Together, we will build a brighter, more inclusive future where all individuals have the opportunity to realise their full potential,” she said in a statement.
Fatimah emphasised the importance of collaboration with local leaders, organisations, and international partners to strengthen systems that support Sarawak’s vulnerable populations. She expressed her commitment to ensuring no one is left behind in the journey towards equality and resilience.
The ministry envisions a society where women are empowered to lead across various spheres, children receive the nurturing environment they need for growth, and communities unite to build a resilient and prosperous future.
“As we look toward to 2025, my ministry remains committed to creating a future where every woman, child, and community has the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive,” said Fatimah.
This vision aligns with Sarawak’s broader goals of fostering gender equality and community empowerment, making the state a model of inclusivity and progress.
