KUCHING: The Sarawak men’s rugby team is gearing up for a challenging tournament as they face formidable opponents Johor, Terengganu, and Pahang in Group C of the upcoming Malaysia Games (Sukma) Sarawak 2024.
Team Manager Faqrul Hafiz Remains Confident
Team manager Faqrul Hafiz expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to rise to the occasion and secure a spot in the quarter-finals despite the tough competition.
“Group C will be a tough challenge for Sarawak’s men as Johor and Terengganu are strong opponents based on their performance at the National 7s before. But we will do our best to beat them and qualify for the quarter-finals,” Faqrul told the Sarawak Tribune on Monday (July 29).

“We are thankful that all our players are in good physical condition and mentally prepared as we have less than three weeks to go,” he said.
