Ahmad Amzad, along with the committee delegation, recently paid a courtesy visit to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia. During the meeting, discussions focused on Sarawak’s pioneering efforts in hydrogen technology and other environmental advancements.

“We are here to explore Sarawak’s progress in hydrogen technology, an area where the state is clearly leading the way,” Ahmad Amzad added. The delegation also visited the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and Sarawak Energy Berhad for briefings on hydrogen technology, which included viewing pilot projects such as hydrogen-powered buses and vehicles.

The delegation’s visit, which included Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee, Julau MP Datuk Larry Sng, and Padang Serai MP Dato Azman Nasrudin, underscored Sarawak’s pivotal role in driving the national green energy agenda.
