SEREMBAN: The heartbreaking request of a teenager not to buy new Raya clothes turned out to be a sign of his untimely passing. Aisar Azim Abdullah, 17, tragically lost his life in a road accident involving two motorcycles and a car at Jalan Persiaran Senawang 1 last Thursday.
His older brother, Muhammad Aiman, 20, shared how Aisar Azim, lovingly known as Alang, made an unusual request just days before the accident.

“I asked him why he didn’t want to buy new Raya clothes this year. He said he didn’t feel like celebrating and just wanted to stay home. I never thought those words would mean he was going to leave us forever,” said Aiman when met at the Maqbarah Salimah Islamic Cemetery in Taman Zaitun Indah, Sikamat, early this morning.

Their mother, Nurha’afza Salwa Hazizan, 41, recalled how her late son, the third of 10 siblings, had always been excited to welcome Syawal, often dressing in matching outfits with the family. She expressed her heartbreak but is determined to seek justice for the incident that took her son’s life.
“We were already prepared when the doctor told us his oxygen level had dropped to 38 percent and that his brain was dead. We recited Surah Yasin, and I forgave him and his sins. He passed away peacefully, as if he was just sleeping,” she said.
Aisar Azim was pronounced dead at 7.23pm last night after being treated at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital (HTJ) since March 6. His remains were laid to rest at 12.40 midnight at Maqbarah Salimah Islamic Cemetery in Taman Zaitun Indah, attended by nearly 100 family members and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar’s Political Secretary, Norazman Mohammad, who led prayers and talqin.
Previously, it was reported that two students, aged 15 and 16, also lost their lives in the accident when their motorcycle was struck by a Honda Jazz at the Matahari Heights traffic light intersection, Jalan Persiaran Senawang 1.
Initial investigations revealed that the car, driven by an 18-year-old male with a 17-year-old passenger, failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a Modenas Kriss motorcycle carrying the two students and a Honda Vario motorcycle ridden by Aisar Azim and his 13-year-old friend.
Seremban District Police Chief ACP Mohamad Hatta Che Din confirmed that the 13-year-old, along with the driver and passenger of the car, are still receiving treatment at the same hospital. — Bernama
